Salvatore Joseph Anzalone

August 7, 1944 - August 26, 2021

Salvatore J. Anzalone, 77, of Carol Stream passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.  Salvatore was born August 7, 1944, in Chicago the son of Peter and Lena (Tock) Anzalone.  He was Preceded in death by his sister Maria Cabel.

He is survived by a large loving family. He was Uncle, Great-Uncle, and Great-Great Uncle to 47 nieces and nephews, and Godfather to three generations. He is also survived by many dear friends he considered to be family. Salvatore graduated from Elmhurst college where he majored in education and continued to have an illustrious successful and devoted career as a teacher for many years retiring from Jay Stream Middle School in Carol Stream. He had a passion and great interest in the performing arts especially Broadway plays he would attend with so many wonderful friends and family.

Visitation will be held 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Avenue Batavia, IL.  The funeral will travel in procession at 10:00 A.M. following the visitation to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2300 Main Street, Batavia, IL to celebrate Mass at 10:30 A.M.  Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
